Bioethanol needs no gas line or chimney, so a flame can go on a penthouse terrace, beside the pool or at the centre of a courtyard majlis. We plan the placement with you for wind, shade and how your guests move.

Can it be left outside?
Our outdoor models are designed for outdoor conditions. We advise on covers and placement for your terrace.
How do I refill it?
Refill only when the burner is cold, then light it with a long fireplace lighter. It takes a minute.
Can I use it on a balcony or rooftop?
Often, yes. There is no gas line or chimney. We check your building’s rules and the wind conditions with you first.
Do I need a chimney or a gas connection?
No. Bioethanol burns without smoke, soot or ash, so there is no chimney or flue. Hybrid Mist runs on electricity and demineralised water. Automatic burners need a power connection, which we plan with you. As with any open flame, ventilate the room while a bioethanol fireplace is lit.
