Our story
Built from scratch, under one roof
Decoflame was founded in 2008 by Kjell Thomsen in Vestbjerg, just outside Aalborg in North Jutland. From the start the idea was simple: design and build every fireplace ourselves, so that nothing stands between a client’s wish and the finished piece.
Today around 30 people work in Vestbjerg, from designers and electronics engineers to blacksmiths. Together they build some 2,500 fireplaces a year. Every part passes through many skilled hands, and it is not only the clean lines that matter, but what lies beneath the top plate.
Every Decoflame fireplace is CE-marked and regularly tested at an approved test centre, and is sold through dealers in more than 20 countries.
Since 2024, Decoflame has been 50% owned by the owner of RAIS, the Danish stove maker, joining two families of Danish fire.

Decoflame UAE is run by CBA GLOBAL FZCO in Dubai Silicon Oasis, the official and only Decoflame dealer in the UAE. We advise on the right fire for your home or project, work with Denmark on the design, and look after delivery and installation.
